Pixel art learning turned into a game concept

HOW IT STARTED

My curiosity about retro games goes beyond playing.
One of my favorite memories is spending raining evenings at my grandma while playing old Nintendo games together.
As I wanted to learn pixel art I came up with a short game concept and bought Aseprite (pixel-art tool to create 2D animations, sprites, and any kind of graphics for games.)
Everything you see here is created by me pixel by pixel in Aseprite and Figma.

SCAPE - EARLY CONCEPT

sCAPE aims to be one of this nostalgic pixel art games with different levels and upgrades. The user needs to collect the game currency and in exchange can give their hero the ability to upgrade. Additionally, after successfully defeating a creature, users have the exciting opportunity to play as the captured creature themselves.

LEVEL & CHARACTER DESIGN

The game primarily takes place in an underground world, where a new realm of magic coexists. In the darkness below, magicians work to safeguard us from the underground creatures.

ACCESSIBILITY CHECKS

I strike to make something enjoyable for every human being so I love making accessibility checks. I want to provide the availability of the product to anyone who is interested and looking forward to try it. :)
